About
Biography
Cleveland-based violinist and educator with a performance-centered approach to private instruction.
Ruoyao Li is a Cleveland-based violinist and educator whose teaching combines conservatory training, professional orchestral experience, and close attention to each student’s individual development. He earned both a Master of Music and an Artist Diploma in Violin Performance from the Cleveland Institute of Music, studying with Ilya Kaler and Olga Kaler.
As an active performer with orchestras across Northeast Ohio, Ruoyao brings the discipline, listening skills, and practical insight of professional ensemble work into the studio. His goal is to help students develop secure technique, musical independence, and the confidence to perform with purpose.
